There is a rising consensus in spiritual circles that we human beings are spiritual beings in physical bodies. That this human body is merely a vessel, that we are simply avatars. We are energy - neither beginning nor ending, complete and perfect...until we claim "humanity". Then our spirituality goes straight to hell in a hand basket.
